Trade Nation, a forex and contracts for difference (CFD) broker, has received a new strategic license from the Financial Services Authority of the Seychelles. With the new license, the company can expand its existing authorizations, including those in the UK, Australia, the Bahamas, and South Africa.

Seychelles has made great strides to establish itself as a reputable regulatory authority despite being known primarily for its exotic appeal. As a result, more and more firms, including forex and CFD brokers and crypto traders, are opting to obtain licenses from the FSA in Seychelles. Several examples include Moneta Markets, a broker aiming to expand globally, and Bitget, a cryptocurrency platform. Seychelles’ local regulations have also benefited long-established brokers, such as Plus500.

Trade Nation has an extended global reach and more opportunities to grow its customer base, especially in Asia.

According to Stuart Lane, CEO of Trade Nation:

“The Seychelles license marks an important step for the growth of Trade Nation as we further strengthen our regulatory position and offering to our global client base. Trade Nation is uniquely, strategically well-placed to offer these new initiatives under the protection of the Seychelles regulation. We’re delighted to be able to provide even more customers with a competitive service they’re able to trust.”

“Trade Nation’s expansion to the Seychelles market, along with its recent sponsorship of Aston Villa as the Club’s Official Sleeve and Trading Partner, reaffirms the company’s commitment to delivering brilliant trading solutions to a wide audience and shows that we’re as dedicated as ever to our core values of respect and excellence.”

This new strategy license includes many features. On MT4, Trade Nation users can trade up to 500:1 leverage. Seychelles also offers copy trading as well as swap-free trading.

With more markets and products on TN Trader, MT4 will remain the primary platform.

In addition to MAM, Copy Trading, IB deals with revenue share deals, and CPA; this license will offer various partnership opportunities with the Seychelles entity.

Risk Warning: Financial Spread Bets and CFDs are complex instruments and come with a high risk of losing money rapidly due to leverage. 86% of retail investor accounts lose money when trading CFDs with this provider. You should consider whether you understand how CFDs work and whether you can afford to take the high risk of losing your money.
